Tech

Q: I have the new iPhone 3GS and I'm seeing some graphical corruption.
A: We're aware of this issue. Unfortunately we did not have access to the 3GS hardware before it was released. We are working on a fix for it right now which we hope to have available very soon.

Q: Does X2 Football 2009 work with OS 3.0?
A: Yes, there should be no problem running X2 Football 2009 with OS 3.0

Q: The game seems to quit or crash as soon as I run it.
A: Try rebooting your iPhone/iPod Touch. If that doesn't work, try re-installing or re-downloading.

Features

Q: Will you be supporting Club Teams?
A: No promises, but we're looking into it for a future version of the game.

Q: When will I be able to play multiplayer X2 Football?
A: We hope to have a free local multiplayer update released before the end of the year.

Gameplay

Q: I'm having difficulty getting to grips with the controls.
A: Spend some time in Training Mode (accessed from Game Modes), here you won't be bothered by the CPU opponents.

Q: I'm finding the game a bit easy.
A: Check you've increased the difficulty level. Go to OPTIONS / SETTINGS and change CPU SKILL.

Q: How do I head the ball, or perform a volley or overhead kick?
A: All heading and kicking is context sensitive. If your player is in a good position to head the ball, and it's in the air, then any of the pass or kick buttons will perform a header. Similarly if the most appropriate action is a volley, he will volley it. Overhead (bicycle) kicks are possible, but only if the situtation is right!

Q: How do I keep my shot low?
A: The height of the shot is context sensitive, but the best way to keep your shot low is to just tap the shoot button very quickly.

Q: How do I aim a shot?
A: Shooting is context sensitive. When pressing shoot your player will aim for the corner of the goal he is facing. The accuracy of his shot is determined by a variety of things, including: How composed on the ball is he, how hard he's trying to kick it, whether he's under pressure from an opposition player etc.

Q: Why have you removed skill move?
A: We haven't, skill move is now performed by double tapping anywhere on the right hand side of the screen.
